This one is another angle on the "Twins" shot I posted last night. I really think the other one is the better angle, but I wanted y'all to see this one, too.
This one I call "Old and New". If I'd been smart, I'd have taken these pics BEFORE I watered the garden. I've been to school, I've bought books, even read some of 'em. There are times when I show a REMARKABLE lack of common sense, however. Last night was one of those times. I got really "damp" takin' all these cacti pictures.

I knew I wanted a catchy name for this one, but I was drawing a blank. The Phabulous LaP and Ibounced ideas off one another and I came up with:
ECactile Dysfunction
Now, for this one, look below at this one plant that looks like it is two plants. a longer view can be seen in the background of the ECactile Dysfunction shot above. It's hard to believe that this grew out of a lobe of a Prickly Pear the Dearly Beloved sliced off a plant in the desert and we wrapped in wet burlap for the drive home. These are some kind of hardy vegetation, aren't they?

Next time I shoot a "Light in the Window" pic...would SOMEBODY please remind me to clean off the frackin' windowsill?

This is about 3/4 of the grass I removed from the area around and in front of the expanded cacti garden. That blue cart in the background is a nifty little thang I bought at a friend's garage sale a few years ago. It has a big storage compartment inside, with a removable tray. I put my hand tools in there and can pull it all around the yard. I sit on it to work, so I don't have to sit on the ground. It a great height, so I don't have to lean way over and kill my back. I'm tellin' y'all it's worth every cent of the $5 I spent on it . Thanks again Dian!
Tomorrow...Tip is No longer "Mama's Little Fatty" pics included of a stoned Tip.
