Cowtown Gun Show

Sunday the Dearly Beloved and I went down to Cowtown for the Gun Show. Maybe it's my faulty sense of spatial awareness, or maybe it's real...but this Gun Show seems a lot smaller than the Dallas show in Market Hall.

We still managed to have a good time. Somehow we spent some money, too. Dearly Beloved picked up another .45. AS IF he doesn't have enough. But he says, “the gun safe is NOT either full!” But he gets to blog about that hisself.

I got a new Range Hat. The medium was a little snug and I was worried that for long time wear it would cause a headache. So I tried on the Large. It was a tad too big. [I felt like Goldilocks] But there wasn't a Medium ½ so I bought the Large. It is loose enough that it covers the entire back of my neck because I have to tilt it back a bit on my head to keep it from sliding down too far over my eyes. “But aren't you worried it will blow off, Holly?” Well, NO. Didn't you see that “Stampede Strap”? Just cinch that baby up on a windy day, and I'm good to go. It's so snazzy, Dearly Beloved wants one. So you can guess which vendor He'll be lookin' for at the Dallas show.

I also made another acquisition, and it was ON SALE! [2 of my favorite words] I got a set of Crimson Trace Laser Grips . They are just slicker than owl snot! At least while I've been sighting at things here in the house... I will be goin' to the range with them on Saturday. A report will be posted afterwards.

Now, y'all go pester the Dearly Beloved for a post about HIS acquisition.

Thanks for the link on the company that did the concealed purse. I wrote and asked them if I could do a piece on their ware, and they blew me off, so I will be highlighting another fav this weekend.
