Why Dinnit Y'all TELL ME...

that Hagen Daaz has a Bailey's flavored Ice Cream? Did y'all think I couldn't be TRUSTED?

Well I CAN!!! I bought a pint on Monday. Even sharing it with the Dearly Beloved it lasted until last night. Of Course, I'm going back to the store in search of a Half Gallon today, but STILL, that all important FIRST pint lasted three whole days. OK, OK, OK, two whole days and a night. Picky Picky Picky.

I didn't know this either. Is it a big hush hush conspiracy or what?

I'm off to but some just for me ;-)

Good thing there isn't a Bailey's and Godiva, or you would instantly sublimate into heaven...

I have an advantage...a spouse who works in a frozen food department! I get a chance at all the new flavors! (gloats a wee bit)

But, did you know that Haagan Daas, or however you spell it, has a Green Tea ice cream? Ohhhhh...it's marvelous....

But, my favorite was by far was the marvelous concoction featuring my favorite - Guinness - a Ben and Jerry's ice cream aptly titled "Black and Tan".

Then, of course, you can make your own. Take a couple of scoops of Bluebell vanilla and add a shot of Bailey's on top.

Whoot! Or, take the same couple of scoops of Bluebell, put it in a blender with a shot of Bailey's, a shot of Kahlua, and shot of vodka. Spin the blender. Instant frozen mudslide. It's good stuff.

Don't drink and drive.

Even better, get one of those Kebler dark chocolate cookie crumb crusts, fill with softened Baileys ice cream, a thin layer of cool whip and then drizzle some dark syrup on the top, or chocolate shavings. That's MY sensible meal on the Slim Fast program
