A Contest!

Okey Dokey! Since I'm gonna start my Social Work blog, I gotta have a "Catchy Name" for it. Normally, I am a fairly creative sort, but I seem to be plumb out of ideas right now.
OK, because of that pesky TX regulation about not calling yourself a Social Worker unless you actually have a license, which I explained in the previous blog I don't, anymore, I can't use the term "Social Worker" in the title.

I can use Social Work. I can use BSW [since I earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree]; Help; Advice; Holly; or any variation or snarkery based on those word.

I was thinking about:
  • Holly's Help Blog
  • No BS from a BSW
  • Advice Worth MORE than what You Pay for It

So either vote for one of the above or submit one of your own. The winner gets to pick a topic of their own choosing for a future blog on THIS page.

Here's a few (tongue in cheek):

- Working At Being Social

- Social: What Works And What Doesn't

- Unsociable Work

- Why A Social Worker Needs An Ambulance Driver

I like "No BS From a BSW". :)

How about "I Am Not a Social Worker...but I played one on TV."

You could put your history, qualifications and disclaimer in your "About Me" section on your blog.

How about "On the Tit Too Long"

Actually, let me mull this over and I'm sure I'll be able to come up with something more clever than that

I like the No BS one, too, but I love AD's suggestion!

Gotta agree with AD and Flo on this one.

I thought Socially Accepted Goddess Advise sound's good also.

Is "Help me Holly" too simple?

I mean I can imagine......

OK, let's leave my overactive imagination out of this.

How about helpmeholly.com or .org or dot whatever.

Actually, Anonymous' suggestion is pretty good, too.

Help Me Holly or Holly's Help Desk would be catchy.
