Boo's Going to

Terlingua !

She's taking Ben with her to act as a bodyguard. She figures since Daddy is always calling her "Coyote Girl" that once the REAL coyotes out there get a look at her beautiful self, they will start plotting to kidnap her and improve their gene pool. Since she's a good girl and doesn't do booty calls, she needs a bodyguard.

However, neither she nor Ben have ever been to Terlingua. They can't read a map. Neither one has opposable thumbs, so they can't grip the steering wheel. Even if they had thumbs, I doubt they could cooperate enough for one to steer while the other one worked the pedals. SOOO...

The Dearly Beloved and I have been invited to accompany them as drivers and additional nighttime security. I figure a few accurately placed rounds from a Buckmark .22 or a .410 or my true love, a Colt .45 will discourage any Coyote kidnappers. Doncha think?

It's been almost 14 months since our last trip and like the old Wolf brand chili commercial used to say, " Well, Neighbor, that's too long." I've been there in January and May and July and August. I'm really looking forward to seeing the desert in the Fall.

After the July, August and September I had, I really need to be on Terlingua time for several days. It's not just a vacation out there. For me, it's more like a vacation from reality.

For those of you who don't read "The LawDog Files" I'm gonna tell you about a quaint little eatery he linked a couple of weeks ago. www.heartattackgrill.com willtake you to their website. Since we'll be about 1/2 way to Tempe, I'm trying to talk the Dearly Beloved into going on out to AZ and gettin a burger there. We could ger those little orange "Service Dog" vests for Ben and Boo and they could go in and eat what falls out of those freshly made buns. We'll just say that B & B are our "Therapy" dogs. That they keep us from overeating. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Doesn't look like she'll be going anytime soon. Nor will the son of a bitch.

(Ben, I mean.)
