Haikus, PC Defined, and Lunacy

The Haikus [is that even the correct plural form?] I submitted that Sparrow didn't choose for competition were:

Parole Officer
sending felons back to prison
Wish they would stay there!

Laptop research then

I LOVE freelancing!

I don't know WHY I haven't added MDOD to my blogroll before this, because I drop by their house 3 - 4 times a week. All the women have a crush on DRX, and while I think it'd be fascinatin' to have a drink with him...I have a schoolgirl crush on the Aggie. Last week or early this week [?] I read this:

Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
I was perusing a booklet of coupons and recipes sent to me by a local grocery store chain. At the back of the book, after all the recipes for spicy foods to nosh on during the football playoff games, and coupons to save money on some of the ingredients...there was one final coupon. It was for a product I didn't even know had been invented. It's mere existence is a sad commentary on the state of our society. The product? Tums for Kids!!!
What kind of indulgent, nutritionally neglectful parents are raising the type of children who overeat on such a regular basis that the need for this product is warranted? Or, what types of stressors are today's children experiencing that the only way they can express it is through their gut? I'm just askin'...

MDOD's blog looks great!

Re: TUms for kids - start brand loyalty early, they say. I agree- this is wrong-headed.
