I am sick and tired of the distortions in the MSM about the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. So, let's just sit down and talk truth for a few minutes, ok? I have a feelin' I'm probably gonna be preachin to the Choir, here, but I just have to get this off my chest.
Have we REALLY become such a Nation of soft-brained sheeple that the MSM thinks we believe this bushwa about civilian casualties in both theaters of war? When a military position receives mortar or rocket fire from a house or group of buildings and they return fire to that exact house...don't you think the people inside that house or building were the very ones who fired on the military personnel?
And why are they called Insurgents? Why don't they call a spade a spade? Let's go back to calling them what they actually are: TERRORISTS! There, that's to the point, isn't it? And, to my mind it's accurate.
No more talk of Insurgents, no more talk of civilian casualties. If they are in a house or building firing on military positions they are TERRORISTS. Period. end of sentence, end of paragraph.
Women inside, since when can't a woman be a terrorist? Dead children? Well, I grieve for them, I honestly do. But if their parents, the TERRORISTS didn't put them in harm's way... they wouldn't BE dead, now would they?
Put the blame where it belongs, on the TERRORISTS, NOT on the U.S. Army or Marines or Coalition forces. Just shut the hell up!

Another thing that just pisses me off is the coverage these singer's and actor's get override the war coverage. Makes me want to smash the tv!
There was a female suicide bomber not too long ago. What are they using to coerce them into participating in the cause? They get to be one of the 72 virgins?
Don't forget the news time alotted to the steroid using, wife beating, over-paid athletes, pro- and college. The attention paid to Those guys REALLY chaps my nether regions!

In a nutshell, some of the female suicide bombers are True Believers...unfortunately, others are Muslim women who are deliberately raped, and then, in order to restore their family honor, are given the opportunity to become suicide bombers!
These are the kind of SCUM we are battling!
I am SO with you on this about the mis-representations of the media - they have been festering all along to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. It's tragic. They have their heads up their asses, clearly.

Some part of me grieves for the women and children, but the blood is not on my hands, even though I fired many of the rounds dropped on them: it is rightly on those who attacked us, who deliberately chose to hide behind their less capable FAMILY.
This was either cold-blooded cynical manipulation designed to kill their own (supposedly) loved ones for propaganda purposes, or incredibly stupid. In either case, I'd do it again.
Oddly enough, our FOB hasn't been attacked for an usually long time since then...
