Because They Hate

Because They Hate is a book I finished reading last week. The subtitle is: A Survivor of Islamic Terror Warns America. The author, Brigitte Gabriel, is a Lebanese Christian. She was 10 years old when the Civil War [always one of my favorite oxymorons] broke out in Lebanon. The Lebanese Islamists, with the help of the PLO, turned her entire country into a war zone. Ms.Gabriel spent the better part of the next seven [7] years living in a bomb shelter with her aged parents.
Her tale is powerful and, for me, spellbinding. The assertions and accusations she makes about Islamists are well documented in the footnotes. One recurrent theme is that our Political Correctness will get us killed.
When the radical Islamists say they will rule the world, they MEAN it. They killed or chased the Christians from Lebanon. They are attempting to do the same in other Mideast countries that have Christian minorities now.
They, through our own Bill of Rights, are trying to enact laws HERE so that they will have special protection in this country.[think Rep. Conyers and his bill to protect Muslims] Think I'm being a BIGOT? Go read the sections of the Koran she quotes in BTH. The sections where Muhammad tells his followers it's alright to lie to infidels to gain their confidence; to calm their fears, to kill infidels [including children] if they will not convert or submit. Read the sections of the Koran that disavow earlier portions of the Koran that urged followers to be tolerant and peaceable towards infidels.
Heck, you don't even have to read BTH, just read the KORAN. Or check the transcripts of weekly lessons from Imams in the Middle East and this country.[You can do this by going to www.memritv.org.] Lessons urging GOOD Muslims to prepare for Jihad. To prepare the way for Sharia Law to replace our Constitution!
Liberals and Democrats think the Religious Right is intolerant... huh! They are Free Agers compared to Islamists on Jihad.
How many of you have heard of Hamas? Did you know that, according to their 1988 charter, which you can find at:www.library.cornell.edu.colldev/mideast/hamas.htm. They consider the following "...secret organizations that spread around the world in order to destroy societies and carry out Zionist interests. Such organizations are the Freemasons, Rotary Clubs, Lions Clubs, B'nai B'rith and the like. All of them are destructive espionage organizations."

My Daddy was a Freemason. His boss at the Post office was in the Lions Club. Both men were life-long members of the Church of Christ. Imagine my shock when I discovered, after reading the Hamas Charter, that it was all a cover for their activities as Zionist spies! I'll never look at another Rotarian the same way again.
Hamas has cells in the USA, right now! Would you like to know where?
Boston; NYC; Laurel, Maryland; Potomac, Maryland; Washington, D.C.; Herndon, Va; Springfield, VA; Raleigh, N.C.; Boca Raton,FL; Philadelphia, PA; Cleveland, OH; Charlotte,S.C.; Orlando,FL; Tampa,FL; Detroit,MI; Houston,TX; Columbia,MO; Plainfield, IL; Kansas City,KS; Chicago,IL; Denver,CO; Oklahoma City, OK; Arlington, TX; Dallas,TX; Tucson,AZ; Seattle,WA; San Francisco,CA; Santa Clara,CA; Loa Angeles,CA and San Diego,CA.
Islamic Jihad and al Qaeda also have active cells here. See the footnotes in her book for the documentation. Or check with the USDOJ.gov. Or Homeland security.

I don't want to give any more examples from the book. I don't want to read it FOR you. What was important to me, may not be important to you. And what strikes a chord with you, may be something I skimmed over.
I want to thank whoever the commenter was over on Tamara's blog who mentioned this book. I really enjoyed reading it.

This book is a very loud wake up call, folks! Please don't hit the snooze button.

Check my links section for MEMRI, JIHAD Watch, and a little lighter reading from AMBO driver.

Was I too strident on this post? Was the topic too sensitive?
Why no comments?
