I live in a {relatively} small town with two State Universities. Because of the large student population and the commuter students, the daytime traffic in town can be horrific. A lot of my driving takes me close to one of the mostly female University. It's not as big as the other U, but it has it's own set of traffic tie ups.
Today it was nice and quiet, though. That informs me Finals are over and most of the students have left town for Mom and/or Dad's for the holiday break. YIPPEE! You know what that means don't you? Less traffic. Shorter wait times at stop lights. Better parking spaces at shopping centers. Shorter lines at the stores.
It's almost like Heaven.
